T: hi, Jon, I heard you were in Boston last week.
嗨！Jon, 我聽說上個星期你在Boston.
J：Yes, I was.
是的！我是。
T: Which airline did you take?
你搭的是什麼航空公司？
J：I took United Airlines.
我搭的是聯合航空。
T: Why didn't you take American Airlines?
為什麼你不搭美國航空呢？
J：Because they were all booked out.
因為機位都被訂滿了。
T: What time did you arrive?
你是什麼時候抵達的?
J：I arrived around 8:30 in the morning.
我大約在早上8時30分抵達。
T: How did you get to the hotel?
你是怎麼去旅館的？
J：Oh, I took the shuttle bus the hotel offered.
我是搭旅館提供的接駁巴士。
T: How long did you stay in Boston?
你在Boston待了多久？
J：I spent almost a month there.
我在那裡待了幾乎一個月。

注意到了沒？過去式的主詞人稱只有be動詞才有單複數動詞的變化，其他的動詞都是用過去式喔！
說英文就要說的正確，才會愈說愈好。
